Rani Mukherjee At Speak Asia Goa Fest

The largest shopping conclave ever, Speakasia's GenX Bazaar, was held in Goa recently.

This three-day shop 'n' sway gala saw over 10,000 proud and shopping-happy Speakasians make Goa's swish Baga their adda for three days. 

The best part of the whole jamboree was the evening entertainment which brought the house down. The film industry's top stars electrified the Speakasians, with performances by Rani Mukerji, Neha Dhupia, Mika, Abhijeet Sawant, and a whole lot of latka-jhatka and naach-gaana. There was also the Provogue Fashion Show and a reverse-auction by Gitanjali.

Over 60 blue chip companies tried to attract the shopping-frenzied Speakasians with their stuff. The GenX Bazaar, said company reps, establishes Speakasia as a community of empowered, connected, confident, conscious and contributing individuals who now have a unique marketplace – it marks Speakasia's coming of age at exactly the moment it turns a year old. Haren Kaur, chairperson, Speakasia online, who was there to herald consumer empowerment at an all time mega expo held on May 9, 10 and 11 at Baga, Goa, was overwhelmed to see the response.
